Western Blot Antibodies

Western blotting is a common analytical technique used to detect specific proteins in a sample of tissue homogenate or cell lysate. Gel electrophoresis is first used to separate proteins by molecular weight. The proteins are then transferred to a membrane, where they are stained with antibodies specific to the target protein. Bio X Cell offers many antibodies that are reported for use as primary detection antibodies for Western blotting. Our antibodies are highly pure and un-conjugated. For protocol details such as antibody concentration and secondary antibody selection we have compiled an up-to-date list of references for each antibody. These can be found on the individual product pages.
